Delete your Warden account

You can delete your account and its associated data from Warden, or contact us to request deletion without reinstalling the app.

Delete in the app#

Open Warden: Safety Map, then:

  1. Open Settings.
  2. Under About, tap Delete account.
  3. Read the confirmation, then tap Delete account.

This removes your account and associated data from our servers, clears the local records database and device identity, and restarts Warden as a fresh install.

Request deletion by email#

If you cannot use the app, email contact@wardenmap.com with the subject “Warden account deletion request”.

Include your Device ID if you have it (Settings → About → Device ID), or write from the email connected to your purchase. If neither is available, explain that in your request so we can help identify your account. We may need to verify that the account belongs to you before deleting it. Do not send passwords or payment card details.

What happens to your data#

Deletion removes your Warden account, saved places, preferences, onboarding answers, display name, profile picture, badges, and device identity from our account records. It does not remove public registry or incident records about other people.

Some separate records have limited retention periods, as described in our Privacy Policy:

  • Purchase records. For as long as the law requires us to keep records of transactions: 5 years under UAE commercial and tax law. Tax and accounting obligations, refunds and disputes.
  • Support conversations. Up to 24 months after the conversation ends. To follow up on what was agreed.
  • Analytics events and session recordings. Analytics events for up to 12 months; session recordings for 30 days. Product improvement over a limited window.
  • Aggregate statistics. Indefinitely, as counts that identify nobody. Understanding how the product is used over time.

Cancel a subscription#

  • Google Play: Play Store → profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → Warden → Cancel subscription. You can also open Google Play subscriptions.
  • Apple: iOS Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Warden → Cancel Subscription.
  • Website: use the subscription link in your Whop receipt, or contact contact@wardenmap.com.
